Who We Are
Procan was created when Peter Schoonewagen and Carlos Cabanelas joined forces to build a young, dynamic company with an uncommon combination of strengths. By uniting deep technological know-how with an extensive international commercial network, our team brings together more than 70 years of combined field experience in the can-making industry. That blend of engineering expertise and hands-on market knowledge is what allows us to solve problems other suppliers can’t.

Yes. PROCAN can provide recommendations regarding machine layout, workflow, utilities, and production flow. These recommendations can be prepared during project planning, so the factory is laid out around the equipment it will house.
Yes. PROCAN supplies equipment worldwide. International projects can include installation supervision, commissioning support, operator training, and ongoing spare parts supply.
Yes. Installation supervision and commissioning support are available worldwide. Installation can be combined with operator and maintenance training so the line is ready to run when the project is handed over.
Yes. Operator and maintenance training can be included with machine installations. Training is arranged as part of the project, alongside installation supervision and commissioning.
Yes. Remote support can be provided when machines are equipped with the required communication hardware. Remote support is one of the services available after startup, together with spare parts, technical assistance, and maintenance.
Yes. Original spare parts are available for supported equipment. Spare parts supply is part of the long-term support PROCAN provides after a line has started production.
Yes. Existing equipment can often be upgraded with new controls, formats, safety systems, or automation features. Upgrades allow a machine already in production to be extended rather than replaced.
In many cases yes. The feasibility depends on machine condition and customer requirements. Where modernization is possible, it can include new controls, additional formats, safety systems, or automation features.
Yes. Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests can be included as part of the project. Customers can attend the Factory Acceptance Test, which is normally carried out before the equipment is shipped.
